Christian Education
At FBC, we believe Christian Education is the Christ-centered Bible-based process of communicating God’s written Word through the power of the Holy Spirit for the purpose of leading people to Christ and building them up in Christ. Christian education produces growth in Christ likeness whereby people “reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:13)
Whether you want to learn what it means to be a Christian, what the Bible says and its relevance for daily faith and life, how to understand and respond to the needs of people or how to love God, neighbor and self, our Christian education ministry is here to help you to mature in Christ and engage in the First Baptist Church mission of “doing bold new things to connect Fayetteville and the world to Jesus Christ.”
Although Christian Education includes all of our church wide efforts to enable people to grow in their faith, we provide two primary vehicles to teach God’s word: Wednesday night Bible study and Sunday School. Please visit those links to learn more about our current offerings.
