2008 Prayer List
First Baptist Church - Moore Street
Fayetteville, N.C.

1. Pray for our Public and Private Schools and Colleges.
2. Pray for Growth in our Worship, Witness, Service and Study of the Word of God.
3. Pray for a vigorous Prayer Ministry throughout our church.
4. Pray for all Church Ministry Teams (see list on the back).
5. Pray for our New Members and their assimilation.
6. Pray for our Spring Leadership Retreat & for effective church Small Groups.
7. Pray for our Music Ministry & their concert tour to northeast states this summer.
8. Pray for the pastor, his family and all church ministers/officers/leaders.
9. Pray for our members:  their health, wholeness, prosperity, spiritual maturity & participation in church ministries.
10. Pray for the church staff and volunteers.
11. Pray for our Vision from God to "Boldly Connect Fayetteville and the World to Jesus Christ" over the next 5 years.
12. Pray for our Youth Ministries and leaders; help them transform our children into mighty disciples of Jesus Christ.
13. Pray for a stronger Men's Ministry among our brothers in Christ.
14. Pray for a multi-million dollar church/growth in financial resources that enable us to "lengthen our cords and strengthen our stakes and expand our tent" for the Lord.
15. Pray for us to be a catalyst for community spiritual and economic development.
16. Pray for our Fall Revival Season, for FAITH evangelism & discipleship.
17. Pray for the moving of the Holy Spirit among us that forges greater unity and enthusiasm for Christ, and bears great fruit for the Kingdom of God.
18. Pray for our city, state, nation and world; for the 2008 elections to give us leaders pleasing to God who unify our nation.
19. Pray for peace and end to wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Sudan (among others).
20. Pray for social and economic justice for Smithfield plant workers and for other oppressed groups at home and abroad.
21. Pray for the Spirit of LOVE to permeate all we say and do in Jesus name.  AMEN!
